Girl Child- A Boon Or A Bane Paragraph. class 6th to  class 12th impotent paragraph within 500+ wards

Women constitute half of this world. But  there are still many communities in Indiathat do not welcome the birth of a girl child. In spite of liberalisation and globalisation, we have not yet been able to get rid of such feudalistic beliefs and superstitions.  In a male-dominated society, the birth of a girl child is not an occasion for rejoicing. A girl child is an inauspicious burden to such a society. As a result, foetus killing and abortions take place to avoid the birth of girl children. It makes the sex-ratio totally unbalanced, and causes aidisastrous social imbalance.

This, however, should not be the picture of a country where Indira Gandhi, Sania Mirza, Deepa Karmakar, Kalpana Chawla and many other matchless women were born. Old and outdated views should have no place here. If India has to progress, it must follow the path of ’Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’. There should be a comprehensive change in our outlook and thinking regarding women.
